The bottom rod bearing and engine in general needs more oil. • Always check crank seals – replace with every rebuild and pressure check bottom end to ensure crank seals are in good working condition. o Look for burrs in crankcases where seals go in. The seal should press in smoothly. Some newer case finishes are rough where the crank seal openings are machined. • Perform leakdown test on engine. Look specifically for intake leaks in reed \/ carb boot and crank seals.
