KBS RustSeal is a single component high-solid content, rust preventive coating / rust paint / sealer. It is impervious to road salts and almost every chemical. RustSeal self levels out to a smooth rock-hard finish that resists chips and scratches. By using it’s moisture curing mechanism, RustSeal combines with atmospheric moisture to start the curing process of the resins expanding and interlocking within the pores of the rust. This unique process literally enables the coating to galvanize itself to the material, becoming an integral part of the surface. While the KBS coating has a moderate level of UV stability, the finish will dull and fade if exposed for extended periods to direct sunlight. RustSeal can be top-coated with any topcoat system you choose for a bright, lasting shine finish.
